Everything your lab store needs
Six areas of IMS, each built around how diagnostic labs buy, store and use stock.
Buy at the right price, every time
From the first request to the delivered goods, every purchase follows the same controlled path.
- Vendor quotations compared side by side; the best rate is awarded.
- Purchase orders only at an approved, unexpired quotation rate. GST type follows the states.
- Goods receipt against the PO with batch, expiry and supplier invoice.
- QR on every PO so the supplier scans to get their PDF copy.
| Item | Qty | Rate | Amount |
|---|---|---|---|
| CBC Reagent Pack | 10 | 2,500 | 25,000 |
| Glucose Reagent 4×50 ml | 6 | 1,850 | 11,100 |
| EDTA Tube 2 ml (100) | 20 | 640 | 12,800 |
| Control Level 1/2 | 4 | 2,100 | 8,400 |
The right stock in the right store
Stores are set up as a hierarchy, so stock only moves along the routes you allow.
- Indent priorities: routine, urgent (escalated after 8 hours) and emergency.
- Mapped routes: transfers to a store off the map are refused.
- Tracked consignments: who sent it, who carried it, who received it.
- E-way bill and vehicle number for inter-state moves over ₹50,000.
Every kit, every batch, every expiry date
IMS follows every open kit from the first scan to the last, and always issues the batch that expires first.
- Expiry runway shows what expires in 30, 60 and 90 days.
- Kit register: use-by is the earlier of expiry or on-board stability.
- Every test booked to patient, repeat, IQC or waste.
- Physical counts and adjustments, approved before they post.
No key step on one signature
Masters and documents pass through maker, verify and approve before they count.
- My Queue puts everything waiting on a person in one inbox.
- Stock cannot go negative; no receipt without an order.
- Changes are re-checked: editing an approved record sends it back.
- Nothing is deleted; masters are deactivated instead.
The whole operation, at a glance
Seven live dashboards for managers and more than 60 reports in eight categories, exported to Excel or PDF in one click.
- Procurement: PO ageing, three-way match, GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Forecast: demand by item and suggested reorders.
- Analysis: ABC, VED criticality and turnover ratio.
- Role-based prices: each person sees prices only where their job needs them.
See what each test really costs
IMS works out the reagent cost behind every test from approved quotation prices, item by item.
- Counted once: a CBC is one haematology reaction, not nineteen.
- Priced per analyser, because each machine runs a different kit.
- Overheads controlled: services, service orders and contract renewals.
- Visible only to the named people you choose.
Every item, from vendor to test
Each step uses the record made before it, so nothing is typed twice and nothing is lost between departments.
What changes for your lab
The store, the bench, the purchase team and finance all work from the same records.
Less waste
Expiry is visible early, and the batch that expires first is issued first.
No stock-outs
Indents, transfers and dashboards keep every store supplied.
True cost per test
Approved quotation prices give the reagent cost of every test.
Purchases under control
Orders only at approved rates; every receipt matches an order.
Faster approvals
Everyone sees their own queue, and urgent work is escalated.
Audit-ready, always
Every movement and approval is recorded and traceable.
